 Positive Leverage Device

"Quick As A Wink" 3/8" Ratchet Drive Positive Leverage Device.   The Leverage tool makes closing a reserve the quickest and easiest since Cain still liked Abel.

This positive leverage tool reduces fatigue and shortens the time when closing a reserve over the traditional type of leverage device or T-bar. It has a unique feature of a square receptacle that accepts any common 3/8" drive tool such as a ratchet, torque wrench or breaker bar.

It works best with a push button release ratchet such as the Sears Craftsman model # 43187, (Sears item # 00943187000) or equivalent. It is machined from aircraft aluminum and is available in 6" or 12" lengths. It also comes with a conventional 9" T-bar handle in case you might not want to use a drive tool although I don't know why you wouldn't want to. I made the first one in 2001 and haven't used a T-bar handle since.

It is especially useful when partially compressing a pilot chute while clearing the fabric out of the spring. The additional length of the 12" model gives you the freedom of turning the drive tool or T-bar handle without bumping into the container. It is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and is the same tool that I manufacture for Para-Gear except their 6" model does not have the T-bar handle.

6" Model $39.95                          12" Model $49.95

(Does not include ratchet)

 Pin Pusher

"Quick As a Wink" Pin Pusher. The slickest, fastest and easy method of inserting the ripcord pin since "dirt was still white", and highly endorsed by "Handsome Dave DeWolf".

This tool is a 6" needle nose Vice Grip that the jaws have been hand ground and re-shaped to wrap around the shank of the pin. The jaws then are dipped in plastic and cured three times.

You just simply clamp the tool to the pin before closing the last flap. Once the last flap is closed, (with your Quick As A Wink Leverage Tool) you will find inserting the pin easier than any method youve ever tried before. I made a necklace out of the tool that I used before the Pin Pusher.

You will find this tool listed as a 'Must Have' on Dave DeWolf's website http://www.paraloft.com/ where you will find a wealth of rigging information. Be sure to check it out.

Pin Pusher $39.00

 4 inch Closing Plate

"Quick As a Wink" Closing Plate. Yes, size does matter, but this time smaller is better.

This tool is a 4" closing plate similar to the more common 12" knee plate.  This tool works very well with the ratchet drive leverage tool and is very useful on most modern rigs where you want to sink the pilot chute or a flap down between the ears of the molar bag. It does not sit up on top of the molar ears like the 12 " knee plate and is much less cumbersome while closing any of the flaps.

Like the leverage tool, it is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and  because of it's size, is a "MUST HAVE" for any portable rigger's kit.

4 Inch Cloing Plate $19.00
